Celebrating Culture, Community, and Performance at the Kansas City Dragon Boat Festival

It has been a wonderfully busy summer for our school, with students participating in performances and community events that celebrate culture, learning, and connection. The Chinese School of Greater Kansas City was honored to participate in this year’s Kansas City Dragon Boat Festival, a vibrant community celebration that brings together culture, tradition, and friendship. Held at Brush Creek on the Country Club Plaza, the festival featured exciting dragon boat races, cultural performances, educational exhibits, and interactive activities that highlighted the rich heritage of the Dragon Boat Festival. https://kcdragonboat.org/

Our students were proud to represent the school through their performance, sharing their talents and helping showcase Chinese culture to the broader Kansas City community. Their hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm reflected our school's mission of promoting Chinese language and culture while building meaningful connections across cultures.

In addition to the performances, the festival provided opportunities for visitors to explore Chinese calligraphy, cultural displays, community organizations, and family-friendly activities. We were especially grateful to be included among the many community partners and cultural organizations that helped make the event a success.

We extend our sincere thanks to our students, families, coaches, and volunteers whose support made this memorable experience possible. We are proud to contribute to events that celebrate cultural understanding and strengthen our diverse Kansas City community. 慶祝文化傳承與社區交流——堪薩斯城龍舟節

今年暑假對本校而言格外充實且精彩，學生們積極參與各項表演與社區活動，在文化交流中學習成長，並與社區建立更深厚的連結。

大堪薩斯城中文學校非常榮幸能受邀參與今年的堪薩斯城龍舟節（Kansas City Dragon Boat Festival）。這項充滿活力的社區盛會融合了文化、傳統與友誼，透過精彩刺激的龍舟競賽、文化表演、教育展示及互動體驗活動，讓民眾深入認識端午節豐富的文化內涵與歷史傳承。https://kcdragonboat.org/

本校學生很榮幸能代表學校登台演出，向社區展現他們的才華，並與更多民眾分享中華文化之美。學生們在舞台上的精彩表現，不僅展現了平日勤奮練習的成果，更體現了本校推廣中文教育與中華文化、促進跨文化交流與理解的使命。

除了精彩的表演之外，活動現場還設有書法體驗、文化展示、社區團體攤位以及適合全家參與的互動活動，讓來自不同背景的民眾共同感受中華文化的魅力。我們也十分感謝能夠與眾多社區夥伴及文化團體一同參與這場盛會，共同為活動的成功貢獻心力。
