🌸 Celebrating Confucius Day & Our Wonderful Teachers! 🍎❤️

What a special afternoon at the Chinese School of Greater Kansas City! On September 27, we celebrated Confucius Day, Teacher Appreciation, and the joy of learning Chinese language and culture together. The afternoon was filled with smiles, laughter, student activities, delicious snacks, and a taste of the Mid-Autumn Festival with mooncakes—but most importantly, it was a time to celebrate the wonderful teachers, coaches, and TAs who make our school community so special. ❤️

👩‍🏫 Celebrating Our Amazing Teachers

Our dedicated teachers, coaches, and TAs give so much of their time, energy, patience, and heart to our students each week. From learning their first Chinese characters to building confidence and fluency, their impact reaches far beyond the classroom.

Families generously contributed treats to create appreciation bags for our teachers—a sweet reminder of how much our community values all they do.

Our appreciation also extends to our parents and families, who are ultimately their children’s first and most important teachers at home. Your encouragement and commitment to keeping Chinese language and culture part of your children’s lives make a tremendous difference. Thank you for partnering with us in their learning journey! ❤️

🌸 Making It All Possible

A special thank-you to Mr. Tosh, our board member and event coordinator, for organizing this wonderful celebration and presenting a thoughtful presentation about Confucius Day and Teacher Appreciation.

We are also grateful to our Board and Staff for their planning, preparation, and behind-the-scenes work to ensure everything ran smoothly. And thank you to our students, volunteers, and entire CSGKC community for bringing your enthusiasm and support to the celebration!

Together, we are creating a place where students can learn, connect, and grow through the Chinese language and culture.
